The moon controls the tides.

Waves come and go.
In life's vast ocean,
They ebb and flow.

Clouds are abundant in the sky.
Their purpose remains the same.

Different shapes and density —
Some clouds are light;
Some clouds are heavy.

As the sky turns grey,
The clouds could be brooding, gloomy,
And also passing ones.

Part of day and night,
Majestic storms may
Make their presence felt.

As they trespass clear regions,
Transiently darkening horizons,
A rainbow may show up after.

Grandiose in its own way,
A sight so magnificent
And heart-warming.

And the moon will always be a companion in the dark.
