"Just living is not enough", said the butterfly, "one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower."
— Hans Christian Andersen.

i could watch you forever.

As anger told patience to expedite,
patience told anger to calm the fuck down.

----------------

Human beings are just lonely souls.
Human beings just want to be included in this society.
Human beings conform to societal expectations to fit in with society.

Basically, the need for love and sense of belonging.

So where is the line drawn?

The line that distinguishes the extent to which human beings would stop sticking to societal expectations and norms and they begin to think on their own feet with their own brain.

Living a life full of lies;

Is that something we might want to do?

Would we like to behave in a certain manner to be accepted by people? And maybe eventually believe that the behaviour is real and exhibit it all the time, which results in others conforming and following blindly as well.

Would we like to be ourselves and be different? And maybe not as accepted due to eccentricity? (If there is the existence of such word.) Perhaps we might not be as accepted, but at least we know that we're breathing normally and not sucking in our breath for the sake of looking good on the outside.

Perhaps "a life full of lies" is a little too strong, but the stand remains.

Then comes the question, of whether we are born evil or nurtured to harbour evil thoughts.

Are we all making use of each other due to selfish personal gains?
Are we hiding behind a persona to mask our selfish needs?
