"Just living is not enough", said the butterfly, "one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower."
— Hans Christian Andersen.

i said maybe.

Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one.

Habituation.

When a habit becomes a habit -
can it be broken?
can it be forgotten?
can it just slowly fade away over time?

--------

The timid mouse ran out of its hole for food.
It grabbed some cheese,
cringed at the smell and ran back,
swearing never to touch dairy products again.

Each day
the owner of the house,
which the mouse lived in,
placed a new slice of cheese at the same spot.

Each day
the mouse ran out of its hole in search for food
would come across the cheese,
cringe and run back.

The mouse was starving
and often grabbed its stomach in pain.
The mouse was more than a little upset,
the mouse was very very upset.

The mouse thought,
it was already a big step,
to get out of the hole,
and to find food for survival.

Survival is a need,
isn't it?
Or
not?

Would there be a next big step -
to appreciate the cheese,
instead of running away from it,
and suffering from that rejection?

The mouse was getting hungrier
as the days passed,
but could the mouse simply just
live with the hunger?

slip inside the eye of your mind
don't you know you might find a better place to play
you said that you'd never been
but all the things you've seen will slowly fade away
