"Just living is not enough", said the butterfly, "one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower."
— Hans Christian Andersen.

it just fades in.

"What you must understand about me is that I'm a deeply unhappy person."

- John Green

And so she put down her reading glasses,
the font was way too big for her.
No matter how she tried to convince herself,
she could not help but spot the little curves.
She hated curves,
she hated anything that had curves -
a round table,
a snow globe.
She had an edge,
she had an obsession with edges.
She could't get over the fact
that the little letters in the book
had tiny curves at the end
rather than edges.
She would have preferred edges,
the way she wanted.

Did she need the reading glasses to begin with?
Could she have done her reading without the glasses?
Could she have overlooked the curves?
Could she have stopped her obsession over edges?
Could she have not let it affect her?
Could she have not even read the book to begin with?

Did she have a choice?
Did she make the right choice?

Said I tried but I can't hold back what's deep in my soul.
So darling please forgive me.

then it disappears.
