Standing in the shower,

enjoying the moment of privacy,

as she quietly sang to the words of the song

playing loudly in the background.

It was her moment,

her time to think,

her time to contemplate,

her time to escape.

She got lost in thought,

and the entire shower turned silent.

No words were sung,

no thoughts were thought.

And then the singing began,

the water against her skin

went from warm to hot,

and she forgot about everything.

In a blink of an eye,

the song ended,

the heartfelt lyrics,

were gone.

The feelings she felt inside of her,

was gone.

Like it didn't exist

before the shower.

A crazy smile on her face,

she turned off the shower,

leaving a final few drops of cold water,

and stepped out.

She then rushed back to her room

to type everything out.
